The Vienna ball season is an annual spectacle. International celebrities gather at the Hofburg Palace and the Vienna State Opera, eager to say they have experienced a true Viennese ball at least once in their lives.

 

Enter CAMPARI: what premium brand could be a better match for such an occasion than the one defined by its iconic red? While the brand is widely known for its presence at major film festivals around the world—where it has built a distinctive reputation for glamour and celebrity—it has also become a longstanding and successful presence at the many prestigious balls Vienna is famous for. Each year, elegant bars are set up inside the Hofburg Palace and the Vienna State Opera, serving perfectly crafted drinks throughout the evening.

 

In January 2026, however, the season introduced an additional highlight: Vienna-based designer Eva Poleschinski created a custom gown for the Vienna Opera Ball, inspired by the signature design elements that define Campari’s unmistakable identity. The elegant haute couture piece, in CAMPARI red, was worn by international top model Nadine Leopold, adding a carefully curated splash of red to the evening while organically integrating the brand into the traditional setting of the ball.

 

Our task was to capture the entire process of CAMPARI’s presence throughout the Vienna ball season in a single film. Across four separate shoots, we documented the design process, attended a ball at the Hofburg Palace, captured the season’s special Negroni creation at Bar Campari, and followed the final appearance of Eva Poleschinski’s gown at Hotel Sacher and the Vienna State Opera on the night of the Opera Ball.
